This is Sligachan Bridge, I wasnt really blessed with any good weather when i passed this bridge, overcast, dull, however it seems every photographer who visits Skye has a go at it so i didnt want to pass up the oppertunity!
So to counteract the boring weather i thought i'd have a go at a long exposure, but it is not the water that i was looking at, but the clouds!
I think cloud long exposures is something I'l start experimenting more with, something new to explore, bring on those windy days!
camera: canon 350d lens: 18-55mm location: Isle of Skye month: February weather: overcast
thanks everyone! xoxo
edit: some of you said it was too soft so i added the sharpen filter in PS, is that common practice for most? its something i don't do so maybe i should start sharpening all my photos?
Reminds me of LotR.. I like that Great use of long exposure!
Oh and I don't think you should sharpen all of the photos. I think the ones with dramatic atmospheres (like this one) look better sharp, but something more delicate and subtle (such as your drop pictures) look really beautiful just as they are now.
You never would've gotten to try long exposure on the clouds, you know..
