This is Sligachan Bridge, I wasnt really blessed with any good weather when i passed this bridge, overcast, dull, however it seems every photographer who visits Skye has a go at it so i didnt want to pass up the oppertunity!
So to counteract the boring weather i thought i'd have a go at a long exposure, but it is not the water that i was looking at, but the clouds!
I think cloud long exposures is something I'l start experimenting more with, something new to explore, bring on those windy days!
camera: canon 350d lens: 18-55mm location: Isle of Skye month: February weather: overcast
thanks everyone! xoxo
edit: some of you said it was too soft so i added the sharpen filter in PS, is that common practice for most? its something i don't do so maybe i should start sharpening all my photos?
I don't know about PS but when I resize photos with Print Shop Pro they always turn out looking softer than the original so I sharpen them after resizing to get back the original look.
Depends on the mood of the photo whether sharp or soft looks better.
