Well, not really 'middle' england. This is Northumberland
where my mum lives, im living with her again at the moment for various reasons but it does mean i have the oppertunity to photograph the great landscapes around me!
This is a mid-day shot, which is quite unusual for me, the colours are so real here. often saturation and tones can get distorted, but this is exactly what i saw standing upon that hillside; the soft pastel patchwork of field spread before me.
I felt like i was hanging from the clouds as I shot this one
I think if i ever manage to get onto photoshop again I shall try this one in black and white
I hope you can enjoy it with me thank you to everyone who has taken the time to stop by, view and comment
every single one is so appreciated xoxoxo
so beautiful and vivid and real and just plain perfect. this is an amazing view, and i hope to see much much more of these shots. you definitely have a knack for catching the most amazing scenes at their peak.
i mean, seriously, god painted this scene just so you could capture it and share it with the world. brilliant.

i need a forty-five between the eyes and a pretty boy on the trigger...
The high vantage point makes this picture fantastic, as you say it is like hanging from the clouds. And it's such a typical English countryside, really feels homely
Shire under the grey clouds of Saruman. The motive with sun lighten fields, when you see clouds only is interesting.
