bending the compositional rules in photography

i did wonder if the central positioning could ever work, but after submitting it to a few other galleries like my flickr i was encourage to submit it here to cos i recieved positive feedback

one kind gentleman told me that the unusual composition 'makes it look more like a highland castle and less like a tourist trap' which i think quite a compliment considering how photographed this castle is!
hope many of you will too enjoy this more unconventional view of the famous castle
camera: Canon 350d
lens: 18-55mm
location: Eilean Donan Castle, Scotland
PS work: stitch and contrast
I didn't really want to visably mark this one, so I have halfed it's size to prevent it being abused.
